 Feeling so excited because I am doing a product review post after ages and that too my favorite makeup product, lipstick. I got these beautiful, cute mini liquid lipsticks from the brand Lakme. These are not any new launches of Lakme but I got these recently from Amazon. The packaging caught my eye and the price too. Years back Lakme had launched the Absolute Matte Melt liquid lipsticks and some months earlier they launched the mini version of the previous ones including a few more pretty shades into the range. The mini version again falls under budget which is a win-win situation for me. I wanted to check the quality as they are claiming these to be matte and I have very dry lips. Hence I got two shades and these two are beautiful shades.

Packaging :

The packaging is so cute and attractive at the same time. The funky colors of the outer packaging are just adorable. You will find all the information regarding the lipstick on the outer cardboard box except the ingredients list. The ingredients list is provided on the plastic wrapper around the liquid lipstick. Once you will tear and throw the wrapper, the ingredients list is gone but you can check anytime on the website for details. The actual product comes inside transparent packaging, hence you can easily see the shade to choose from. Again the cap has the same color and design as the outer cardboard box. The shade name is on the outer box as well as on the liquid lipstick too. I like the applicator though it is the normal one. These are the mini liquid lipsticks, hence the applicator is small but you can hold it properly to apply. It is convenient. All and all the packaging is good. 

Shades :

 I got two shades from the range. There are around 10-12 shades in the range. My shades' names are 'Pink Footprint' and ' Brown Souvenir'.

Pink Footprint: This is a very pretty pink shade with a cool undertone. The shade is not very bright but on the muted side. Looks very pretty on the lips.

Brown Souvenir: This is a pretty brown shade with a warm undertone. The shade will go beautifully in medium to dusky skin tone. The shade looks so natural on lips and not over the top. Loved this shade again.

Texture & Pigmentation :

 These liquid lipsticks have a mousse consistency. The texture is smooth and glides so easily on lips. It feels lightweight on lips like nothing. I love the formulation. The shades settle into a powdery matte finish after 10-15sec. of application. The shades are highly pigmented. You need one or two swipes to get an opaque finish.

Longevity :

It stays for 5-6hours easily on the lips. But if you have meals in between, you will need touch-ups which I don't mind at all.

Let's summarise in short.

Pros. :

1- Beautiful shades

2- Adorable packaging

3- Great formulation

4- Doesn't feel heavy on lips

5- Settles into a powdery matte finish

6- Doesn't feel dry on my already dry lips 

7- Smooth and effortless application

8- Stays for around 5 hours

9- Very pigmented 

10- Affordable 

Con. :

1- Maybe you will find the staying power is not enough.

2- not fully transfer-proof

Final Verdict : 

I love both shades from this Lakme Absolute range. The formulation, consistency, texture, pigmentation, everything I love. It doesn't dry out my lips and that's what I like the most. Price is again under budget. I will suggest trying out these shades or some other shades from this range. You are going to fall in love with these cuties.
