Oriflame Giordani Gold Iconic Lipstick SPF 15 'Rose Petal' - Review & Swatches

Oriflame is not a new name to introduce you...  I love oriflame skincare and makeup stuffs...  They keep changing their products quality and introducing new stuffs every now and then which is great... Recently Oriflame has changed the whole Geordani Gold range and added few more stuffs to the line as well...  In November there are quite new launches happened and I have got couple of products...  I will share one by one... But thought first to share the Geordani gold iconic lipsticks...  I have  two shades of that range and today I will share my views on the shade Rose Petal.. Let's get into the review...

PRICE - Rs 799/- for 4gm.

PACKAGING - The packaging is very classy and royal kind because of the golden case...  Unlike the previous Geordani Gold lipstick's packaging the iconic range also has eye-catching jewel packaging.. It has click-lock system which makes the lipstick easy to carry...  Again the bullet comes inside a black cardboard box which has all necessary information including ingredient list..  The shade name has written at the bottom of the bullet as well as outer box..

SHADE & TEXTURE -  The shade Rose Petal is a very pretty  pale pink shade with very fine silver glitters.. The shade colour changes to warm rosy pink after some times of application. The glitters are not making the shade downside ,in fact I love the effect of the glitters.  The texture is very creamy and hydrated on lips..  It glides so smoothly on my lips like butter and keeps my dry lips hydrated...

PIGMENTATION & STAYING ABILITY -  The shade Rose Petal gives sheer finish...but I guess the darker shades might have good coverage... I swiped 3-4 times to bring a nice coverage...  I don't have much pigmented lips and it covers mine really well...  If you have very dark pigmented lips, then better to apply a nude pencil underneath it to bring a perfect coverage..  Due to the glossy finish and creamy texture the staying over is only 2-3 hours ... And it won't survive any meal, you have to reapply after every meal...  The shade transfers to things due to the creamy texture again... After fading it leaves slight pink tints with glitters behind which again looks pretty . It has very sweet and refreshing fragrance which I like.

▶Very classy royal gold packaging
▶Very sweet and refreshing fragrance
▶Beautiful rosy pink shade with fine silver glitters
▶Creamy and hydrating texture
▶Good for everyday wear
▶ Has SPF 15

CONS.. -
▶Gives sheer coverage
▶Not for darker pigmented lips
▶ Staying ability is low
▶ Transfers to things
▶ Pricey
▶ Availability  (only available through consultants)

RATING - 3/5

FINAL THOUGHT - I personally love this shade...  I feel like, the finish is in between a lip balm and lipstick...  But if you have darker lips, Then better to stay away, as at this price you can get better lipsticks with good coverage...  But I love the shade.. I have another shade of this range which I am going to review next... Stay tuned..

Bye... 💝💝
Stay beautiful 😊

  1. The shade looks glossy and very pretty.

  2. This shade looks pretty but it is not for me as I have pigmented lips. Lovely review :)

  3. Beautiful shade...I also feel the same..oriflame's high end lipstick range is not as impressive as their low price range...

  4. I love the packaging...! Thanks for the honest review !
