A Trip to Agra ....

Hola guys..

Today I am going to introduce a new category at blog i.e. Travel Diary in which I will share my personal travel experiences .. I love visiting new places and to explore them. Due to my pregnancy and baby ,etc I had postponed so many visits.. But now my baby is 2.8 years and I can take him away without any tension.. Well that's all regarding my travel hobby.. Move below to read today's topic..

Here is the first travel post on blog and I am too excited to share my experience of Agra journey.. Recently in February I had visited Agra.. Also I had visited some nearest places to agra, but I will discuss about that in my next  post.. I don't want to mention every tiny bits of my journey, but i will write the main things, places to cover, staying, affordability ways, etc etc.. Let's get into the post..

I am staying at Indore,M.P and I had travelled to agra by train.. It was an 15hours (approx) journey . As a well-known tourist spot the communication facility to Agra is good across India.. You can choose as per your choice.. I reached at 6 o'clock in the morning there and stayed at a hotel named as Taj Inn ... For your reference I want to mention here that you can find some broker kind people at the railway station/airport/bus stops (of Agra) who can wash your mind to listen them and they will promise to make your visit peaceful and easy...Don't belive on them or listen to them, they are just a broker..here all have their commissions .. In my opinion  just book the Govt Tourism hotels/taxi (whatever your need),you will never get cheated.. I am writing this as per my personal experience..

Okk now come to the track again.. After freshen up we (me ,my husband, husband's friend and his wife) were ready to explore Agra and the hotel person had booked a Tavera  for us.. (That was the big fault we did) and they had a list of places to show us from morning to evening... So I am writing about every up and downs that we faced there.. Directly jumping to the places we visit (or you can say the amazing spots of agra) and I will give some descriptions regarding that places and will share some pics (clicked by me) as well..

1- The Incredible TajMahal :

No descriptions required for Taj mahal,right... Agra is well-known for Tajmahal which is one of the seven wonders of world.. You can't imagine Agra without this monument of love. This white beauty was made by Badsah Sahjahan for his wife Begum Mumtaj. Tajmahal is made up of only white marbles which were brought from Srilanka.  At that time 12000 workers (I am not sure actually as I have forgotten the right number what the guide had said, correct me if I am wrong) had appointed to build this symbol of love and total 400 Crore rupees had invested there.. You can see the architecture which is unbelievable.. The Taj Mahal looks incredible in full-moon night..  After reaching there I feel like heaven .. A must visited place once in life...

2- Agra Fort :

Agra Fort is another attraction of Agra and you can't miss that while travelling to Agra... This is another proof of the amazing Mughal  architecture .. It is situated near the Taj Garden and popularly known as Red Fort of Agra. Inside the fort there are so many palaces like Jahangir Palace, Khas Mahal,etc.. At that time Sahjahan was prisionered by his cruel son Aurangazeb and spent all his last time only there by watching the symbol of love which he had made for his wife.. I love that place..

3- Fathehpur Sikri -

It was built by Emporium Akbar in 1570. The city used to be the capital of Mughal Empire . Actually the city is tribute to Sufi Saint. There are 6km.s long wall covers three sides of the city and one side you will find gates and towers. It is made up of red sand stones only. Here you can see the perfect blend of Indian,Islamic and Parisian architecture which is eye catching. The places inside the city is Buland Darwaja , Akbar Palace, Yodhabai Palace,Panch Mahal , Birbal House,Jama Masjid ,etc. Buland Darwaja is known as the highest gate of Asia.. The Fatehpur Sikri is approx 30km.s away from Agra city and need a whole day to visit..

There are two more places as well which you can cover but I didn't get time to visit those.. and these are Itmad-Ud-Daulah and Wildlife SOS

Hope you like this post .. Now enjoy some pics of my Agra visit...
