Review - Huts and Looms, Sustainable and Pure Handwoven Saree

I love wearing Indian ethnic wear on special occasions or festivals. A Saree is one of my favourite ethnic attire to wear during Puja or family get-togethers. Again in sarees, I have a soft corner for handloom sarees. The beauty and feel of these handwoven slow crafted  sarees are truly mesmerizing. It was Durga Puja time and Diwali is also approaching in few days, hence I thought to buy a beautiful handloom saree to celebrate all these festivals with extra joy.  Huts and Looms Tissue Silk Saree  In case you are wondering what a handloom saree is, then let me tell you in brief. Handlooms are basically handwoven fabrics made on a weaving machine called a loom. Hence, the name comes from HandLoom. It is a slow-crafted process, as it needs the utmost patience, creativity, and physical strength to create a masterpiece. Handloom sarees are generally priced because of this reason. I feel every woman looks graceful, powerful and amazing in a saree. Handloom sarees are representing our cultur

Review - Essentials Moisturising Day Cream From Oriflame

Hello pretties..

Winter is almost finish in my city and i hope in your cities as well. I actually wanted to write this one in winter but due to some personal problem this one packed inside the draft... Well today I have taken a little time from my (now-a-days) busy schedule to finish this post..:p Today's review is on Oriflame's Essential Moisturising Day Cream.

Let's move down to know about its in detail..

Product Claims: Hydrate, nourish, protect, light formula with multi vitamin complex. It is for all skin type.

Price & Quantity: Rs 298/- for 75gm. (now the price raised to Rs329/-)
Shelf Life: 3yrs. from mfg.

Product Code: 23747
Availability: Available at any oriflame member. Now theses are also available on some online sites like ebay, flipcart, beautycafe, etc.

Ingredients: At the bottom  of the tub ingredient list is mentioned, but i can't read that as they are written in some different language..:(

My take: I am using it from November and now it is about to finish. Hence I thought it is the right time to review it..
The cream comes in a tub packaging which is a little unhygienic to use as you have to dip your finger each time for use.  The cream is bright white in color and creamy in texture. It is very light weight on face. A little cream spreads effectively on the whole face. It is quickly absorbed by skin also.

I don't think the name defines the cream properly. It is saying that it moisturises skin properly ,but i didn't feel that when winter increased slowly. When I had bought this one, there is very less cold in my city, and that time it moisturises properly to my dry skin ,but as cold increased I felt its drawbacks. Yes you are listening right.. Its effect became slow with the decrease para of atmosphere. Hence I must say it is not for winter but good for other seasons, and if you have normal-oily skin then you may try this one in winter also.

The staying capacity was good (about 8-9hours during the first uses),but it decreased to 1/2hour-1hour as the cold increased. The cream has very mild fragrance which i like.

Ok now summaries its ups and downs ..

Upzzz:

  1. Sturdy packaging
  2. mild fragrance
  3. little amount spreads well
  4. very light on skin
  5. normal-oily skin girls would like it in winter
  6. It has vitamin E in it
  7. quickly absorbed by skin

Downzzz:

  1. Pricey
  2. not suit dry skin girls in winter but will suit in other seasons
  3. unhygienic application

Rating: 3.8/5
Final Verdict: Dry skin beauties can use it in all seasons except winter and oily skin beauties can use it in winter only. This is not a miracle product ,but on the other hand very mild and cool product. I will not buy it now,but definitely try when it is on offer..:p

Hope this post will help you.. Till then byeee..

With Love
