BBlunt Back To Life Dry Shampoo - Review

by - May 12, 2016

Just imagine a situation.. You are in hurry to attend your childhood friend or you are getting ready for your first date which has planned in a hurry, and when you are getting ready, noticed that you haven't washed your hair and your scalp is like oil tank,Then what should you do instantly.. Don't panic ,I have a solution here for all of you.. and that is Dry Shampoo.. Yes you heard right ,dry shampoos are basically boon for this type of hurry situations.. I have read some reviews before on some other dry shampoos but never tried one.. Actually I am very choosy when it comes to try hair product because of my hairfall issue.. But when the brand send it to me ,I was quite excited to try as it was my first ever dry shampoo.

For your reference I have dry ,fizzy hair with dry scalp, but after 2-3 days of shampooing my scalp started being little oily or sticky type.. So I do wash my hair in every 3 days. When I got this product ,thought to skip my head wash and to try this instead of wash.. Till now I have used this 4-5 times and below is my experience..

Brand Claims: Instant freshness is now a spray away. This dry shampoo (no water required) does a smooth job of absorbing excess grease & grime and revamps your hair in seconds. Don't leave home without it. Specially created for Indian hair.
Shake well before use. Hold can in an upright position, six inches away from the hair and spray evenly ,close to the hair roots. Leave on for two minutes. Massage and brush thoroughly.

Price: Rs 250/- for 30ml.
Shelf life: 24months from mfg.

Ingredients: LPG, Ethyle Alcohol, Rice Starch, Cetrimonium Chloride, Isopropyl Myristate, Stearalkonium Hectorite, Propylene Carbonate, Dicocoylethyl Hydroxyethylmonium methosulphate, Propylene glycol and Parfum.

My Experience:

Recently I had gone to Mumbai for holiday and this small bottle worked like a saviour for my hair..
I applied this in my third day of shampooing.. I applied at the hair roots and cover the whole scalp ,then apply on the hair ends as well. Then gave a nice massage and ready.. Initially when I sprayed on the roots ,It looks like i have dusted powder on my scalp and it looked weird and I also was worried, but as soon as I started massaging ,the powdery things vanished effectively and my hair became bouncy and fluffy like I have a hair wash..

Then I visited the juhu beach, street shops ,etc and my hair was like the same till 5 hours almost,So I quite like the product.. As this one is my first dry shampoo,I can't compare this to others available in market.

The packaging is very handy and easy to carry. The bottle looks classy due to the silver packaging.. All informations are written on the bottle.. It is mentioned on the bottle that it is specially for Indian hair but how it is special when it gives white dusts on the dark black hair.. I can't understand that..

Now see the pros and cons part in short..

Pros:
  • Nice travel-friendly packaging
  • Gives instant freshness to hair and makes that bouncy
  • The effect lasts for 5-6 hours
  • Smells good
  • Available online easily

Cons:
  • Gives white powdery dusts when applied, but it goes after a minute
  • Full of chemicals..
Rating: 4/5

P.S- Product was sent by brand for consideration but my review is honest and unbiased..
