Oriflame The ONE Illuskin Foundation "Natural Beige"- Review & Swatches

by - September 21, 2015

Today's review is on a newly launched (not recent launch, but launched in the beginning of the year) foundation from Oriflame. You might be thinking that i am reviewing only Oriflame products now-a-days , but what to do,I have a couple of oriflame products now which were sent by brand for review purpose .. And all the above I love Oriflame proucts (both makeup and skincare) due to their good quality and affordability (as most of the time the stuffs come with exciting offers). Well now move to the review. I am not a foundation lover/user actually ,I do prefer BB cream for daily purpose. Honestly I don't put any makeup on regular basis. I only apply a little or very little makeup during outing, and that time I also prefer BB creams more than foundations. But this foundation which I am going write today is a daily wear light weight foundation with SPF 20 and looks very natural on skin like your natural skin. To know more about The ONE Illuskin Foundation 'Natural Beige'  read below...

Price: Rs799/- for 30ml.
Shelf Life: 3years for mfg.

* I am not mentioning the Ingredient list here.. But the packaging has the ingredient list on it.
Packaging:

The foundation comes in glass packaging with a pump dispenser and a transparent plastic cap on it. The dispenser has lock system which makes it safe while carrying in bag. Due to the glass bottle it is a little heavy and risky to take during travelling. But one can avoid any damage by proper caring. The pump is perfect to dispense right amount of foundation each time. I only need one or maximum two pumps for my whole face and neck.  Again the glass bottle comes within a purple cardboard box which has all necessary informations regarding the product.

Shade,Texture & Finish:

The shade Natural Beige is  a natural skin shade with yellow undertones . It will suit wheat(ish) to fair skin tone girls. There are in total four shades available in this range i.e. Porcelain, N*de pink, Natural beige and Olive beige. All shades are mostly for medium to fairer skin girls ..

The texture is neither too thick nor runny but perfect to blend on skin. It is super light weight on skin and doesn't make my skin look like cakey. I only need one or two pumps for my face and neck and dotted all around ,then dab it using my fingers only and it blends like dream. It doesn't set into fine lines and looks very natural on my skin without any sticky feeling. It gives sheer to medium coverage which is perfect if you are choosing it for your daily office look. It  has SPF 20 within it which is another plus point.  As it gives medium coverage ,you have to conceal your dark circles or any dark spots if you have before applying this.

Staying Ability:

This foundation stays upto 5-6 hours on my skin without any further touch-up. But in hot summer it may stay less time than this ,but you can lock it by applying a nice compact . This foundation is normally suit dry to combination skin girls but oily skin girls can apply a good compact over it .

Pros:
  1. The shade Natural Beige is a nice natural shade with yellow undertones
  2. It gives natural look
  3. It has SPF 20
  4. Blends so smoothly and doesn't settle into fine lines
  5. Doesn't feel heavy on skin
  6. Doesn't make skin look cakey or whitish
  7. Has sheer to medium coverage
  8. Lasts for 5-6 hours
  9. Hygienic pump packaging

Cons:
  1. Shade selection is very limit (talking about the range)
  2. Doesn't cover marks, spots or dark circles ,you have to apply a concealer separately for that.

Rating: 4/5

P.S- PR Sample but my opinion is honest and unbiased.
